Don’t be constrained by the expectations or “shoulds” of yourself or of other people. Be willing to lean into the discomfort of discarding well-meaning advice that sells you short of your potential! If you want to pursue something, you believe it's possible (albeit audacious and/or different!), then give it a real go. When you receive advice and inherent in that advice are expectations akin to "it's impossible" or "you should do something else", extract the golden bits of advice and intentionally work to NOT internalize the barrier-building expectations. What you achieve in a year might feel painfully small, but what you’ll achieve in ten years will blow you away. You've got this!
